These stand-alone, battery-operated locks use microprocessors to program up to 120 user codes right at the lock. The Schlage PRO Series locks are ruggedly designed to meet ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 standards. They utilize a TorqDefender feature that allows the lever to swing freely in a break-in or vandalism attempt, while the lock remains secure. The PRO Series locks are UL listed for fire doors and will last two to three years, or 80,000 activations, before the "AA" batteries need replacing.

All the electronics for the PRO Series locks are on the secure side of the door. Codes from 3 to 7 digits can be programmed and users can be added or deleted in seconds, right at the keypad. The PRO Series locks are available in cylindrical, mortise and unit locks, in a variety of finishes, and come with one of three different lever styles. The locks are furnished with Schlage's Everest 1-1/4" high-security override key cylinder as standard, but can also adapt to other existing key systems.
